What is it?

The Kobata PC-Private Plan™ is a Personal Computer project initiated by Kobata and Efronix. Efronix is an ICT total solutions company established in 1986 serving the consumer, small office & medium business market. Kobata is a Credit Union founded in 1994 that renders financial services to the employees in the Banking, Trust and Insurance sector. In 1999 Kobata and Efronix organized the first PC private plan which resulted in a succes. The PCs were MicronPC (now MPC Computers) then, a brand still considered one of the most reliable. MPC Computers however, does not focus on the consumer market primarily. They are very strong in the Federal Government in the USA and are listed no. 73 on the Top 100 Government vendors. Dell is currently the most reliable computer rated by consumers and has been voted, "best reliablity" for the last 13 years. In a poll among Kobata members it was also the favorite computer brand. KOPPP is intended for members of Kobata. The equipment is financed by a 2 year loan extended by Kobata.

*Monthly Payment

This plan is financed through KOBATA. KOBATA retains ownership until all pay-ments have been made. KOBATA reserves the right to reject any application. For more information on financing, terms and conditions and other details, contact KOBATA.

*Limited Warranty:

Includes a 1-Year Warranty on Desktops; 1-Year Return-to-Factory Warranty on Notebooks. Temporary replacement not available during repair. Defective unit must be returned.; 1-Year Warranty on Printers, Scanners and MFPs. All Warranties include hardware and telephone support. Does not include Software support (problems with virus, programs, operating systems, etc.). Software support available at a hourly published rates.

How does it work?

Provided that you are a Kobata member, you can apply by completing a form, obtainable from Kobata. You can, in addition, download a Microsoft Excel Form which can be used to draw up your order. This form is optional and basically saves Efronix administrative work when ordering. The completed form(file) can be submitted by e-mail to koppp@efronix.com. Please remember that your are required to use the Kobata forms.

*Delivery/At Home service

Customer must pick-up newly purchased equipment. Customer can have their new equipment home delivered at extra charge within business hours. Installation not included. Data migration services from previous PC is not included, but may be requested at additional fee per hour. Installation available within business hours. Grounded outlet must be available (127V outlet with Ground connection). Installation site must be ready.

*ADSL Internet Service

ADSL Internet Service is provided by UTS(United Telecommunication Services). UTS reserves the right to reject any application. Prices and Terms subject to change. UTS makes no guarantee with regards to availability of ADSL in your area. Total deployment for most areas is scheduled to be completed by end 2004.
